IBC WORKSHOP CURRICULUM
Working women are multifaceted and frequently wear many “hats” of responsibility during every 24 hours. Inspired recognizes this and has designed the workshop around three anchors:
A) Who you ARE
B) What you DO
C) Where you are GOING
Who You ARE starts with knowing yourself and your strengths and learning how to leverage your strengths well in your current work environment.
What you DO introduces skills and strategies to increase effectiveness in your current role including communication, public speaking, marketing and branding, social media, building referral networks and task and time management.
Where you are GOING sets your sights on what you want to become in your future with goal setting and mapping a career where you feel rewarded and empowered.
The culmination of the workshop is attendees of the class will organize and host the Inspired Networking Luncheon on January 10, 2019. This project will allow the group to unite and use their skills to prepare and deliver “their commitment to living a life of MORE” to the community of working women at large.

1. Why should I attend the Workshop?
The Workshop is for any woman who wants MORE. For any working women that does not want to settle for an average job, average career, average life. The Workshop is the place to get energized and fired up for becoming your best self in work and life; launching you on the path to becoming who, and what, you were meant to be. Attendees will become community with the other working women in the class. Your new best friend and work mentor may be sitting next to you. When a community of like-minded women come together; great things always happen!
2. Who should pay for this course; me or my employer?
The course is designed to lay the foundation for becoming your best self through increasing job skills. The skills taught will be directly usable at your current place of employment. In that, as the employer may benefit from your increased effectiveness this is a very appropriate expense for a business owner to cover. Not only covering the cost of the workshop but also paying wages for attending, would be appropriate.
3. How do I sign up for the Workshop and if I apply am I guaranteed a spot?
The Workshop is limited to 20 participants. Each participant must fully complete the application as well as the personality test and submit by due date. Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis, but, simply applying will not ensure acceptance into the workshop. Intentionally, each class will be created to represent a wide cross-section of business roles and industries AND each class will be created to represent a variety of personality types.
4. Why does the application require a Personality Profile?
Each applicant must complete a personality profile (no cost) at www.16Personalities.com. The results of the personality profile must be included with the application. Each person will receive a result with a title (example Consul) and a 5 letter description (example ESFJ-A). Completing the personality test serves two purposes. The first is it aligns with the curriculum in laying the foundation for “Who you ARE”. Second, it allows the organizers to ensure the class has a wide cross-section of personalities represented for variety and perspective.
Each week there will be 1 or 2 hours of homework. Homework may be listening to a podcast, reading, doing an exercise, completing a team project and always preparing for the public speaking exercise of the upcoming class. If you do not expect to complete the homework, do not sign up for the workshop as you will not reap the benefits of the program and you will let down the community of women who are participating with you.
6. Do I have to attend each Session?
100% participation is expected. Do not sign up if you are not able to block your schedule for the 8 weeks. Take note, if a team member must miss a session due to an emergency, the other team members (not the coaches) will be responsible for bring the absent team member up to speed. That means if you miss, other team members need to carry your load. You are not just not serving yourself, you are increasing the burden on others.
7. What should I have as Expectations?
The key to the workshop is you. Each woman will get out of the workshop directly in proportion to what they put in. Inspired believes the greatest power behind each woman is herself and her choices. Attendees will find that the workshop will be both a nurturing environment to practise new skills, ask questions, get feedback and stretch themselves out of their comfort zone and it will also be an accountability platform when attendees may be called out by team members or even given a kick in the ass (pardon our French) when required.
8. What about Referrals?
Growing your business is one of the foundations of this workshop. The key to growing a successful referral business is being someone that other people want to do business with. The workshop will lay the foundation for establishing business practices that align with referrals and then building on those practices with increased skills. Generating referrals is not the leading purpose of the workshop but is a byproduct of it. The more you follow and practice the skills presented, the more referrals you will naturally attract.
9. I am not employed or I am between jobs: may I attend?
The workshop is open to women who want MORE! If you are a job seeker, job transitioner, or if you have been out of the workforce for a while and you want to get in: YES this workshop is for you! The curriculum, as well as the community of women in the class, will both set you up for success to first identify, and then go after, a job or career role, that serves you well!

Inspired Women, Inc. is a not for profit organization that seeks to connect, empower and celebrate working women. The organization was started in 2015 and operates in the Flathead Valley MT and online. Our website is www.Inspired-Women.org.
11. Is Inspired just for church people?
