About Inspired Women
Where we connect, celebrate and empower working women!
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” – Proverbs 31:35
The Proverbs 31 woman is a confident and efficient woman; she knows her trade, she works tirelessly, she cares for her family and others, she is respected in her community. In fact, by God’s grace, she views her future with such optimism and enthusiasm it causes her to laugh, showing us how deeply rooted her faith is in an almighty God that “has her back” regardless of the stresses she faces.
Our mission is to connect, celebrate and empower working women in NW Montana.
Connection: Through events and activities we intentionally aid women in building their network.
Celebration: We build up women through presentations and education, and celebrate successes.
Empowerment: We provide the people and the place to encourage and inspire working women to help meet the needs of other working women; professionally, personally, and spiritually, and hope that all inspired women will actively participate in meeting the needs of those around them.
We are driven by faith and founded on, and led by, Christian principals.
We aim to share the love and hope of Jesus through our actions and service to women.
We are inclusive, welcoming all working women regardless of economic standing, role in the workplace, race, religion, age, sexual orientation or physical or mental disability.
We believe in the power of connected, meaningful, relationships, upholding the belief that the more we give – the more we receive.
To use our connections and our resources to see working women thrive; professionally, personally and spiritually, throughout Montana’s Flathead Valley – and beyond.
To provide assistance to women in need, by helping them to increase their connections, their employability, and their opportunities.
Inspired Women was founded in 2015 by Pearl Galbraith.
Several situations in my work and personal life culminated in landing my family in NW Montana in 1998. Being more at home in an urban setting I found it difficult to “find my tribe” in this unique, microcosm of the world.
Inspired was birthed out of what I lacked here in Montana for nearly 20 years. I missed the connection with entrepreneurial, growth mindset, women. I missed educational and job skills training opportunities. I missed a platform where women of faith can excel and achieve in the workplace. I missed an environment where we focus and build on the incredible opportunities around us. I missed continuous desire to achieve; not settle.
I knew if I missed these attitudes, connections, and benefits, so did others. Discussions started with like-minded women in 2015 and together with a phenomenal board of directors and dedicated volunteers, Inspired Women, Inc. was launched.
Today the organization is rapidly growing in influence and effectiveness, enhancing the lives of working women and the people they touch.
Inspire one woman; change the world.
More About Inspired Women of Northwest Montana
We Create Connections:
What makes Inspired unique is the group’s primary purpose – to feed the “Soul”. We aim to build Godly relationships with women first, provide mentoring for their workplace skills second, and allow the opportunity to showcase wares, third.
We Don’t Settle:
What “we don’t settle” means is Inspired promotes lifelong learning. We aim to empower women with new skills, trend updates, and opportunities, to increase their skills in the workplace. We see talents and strengths as God-given abilities and we want to recognize, appreciate, and give women opportunity to grow those talents for both personal and professional benefit. We want to continually strive to be the best we can be.
We value Authenticity and Fun:
Inspired is NEVER boring. We love to laugh, live and love. We value open honest conversations and embrace authenticity. Speakers are asked to share from their hearts. We want to hear about speaker successes, but, more than that, we want to know the challenges, the less than perfect, the failures and the soul-searching experiences they went through. Sharing that despite challenges, or sometimes because of challenges, these women grew to where they are today.
We Walk the Talk:
We lead by example in doing what we are able in enhancing the lives of the women we touch and we ask women to step up and proactively do the same.
